Cloud migration time & cost estimator
Moving to a new cloud? See roughly how long it'll take and exactly what it'll cost — by data size and provider. No signup to estimate.
Works in any direction between Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, Nextcloud / WebDAV. The speed's the same whichever clouds you pick — so just tell us how much you're moving.
Moving more than 2 TB, or a whole team? Concierge handles it, from $299 ↗
Copy-only: we read your source and write copies. Your originals are never deleted, moved, or changed.
How the estimate works
Transfer time is simply your data size divided by how fast the two clouds move data between each other on our servers. Because CloudRaft copies cloud to cloud— never down to your computer and back up — your home internet isn't the bottleneck; the providers are. We use a deliberately conservative throughput, so treat the time as a rough estimate: real speed depends on both providers' rate limits and how many small files you're moving.
Pricing is the real thing, not a teaser. Your first 10 GB is free; after that you buy a one-time prepaid pass sized to your data — never a subscription, and never “unlimited” for a flat fee. See the full breakdown on the pricing page, browse step-by-step migration guides, or — for a large or hands-off move — let us run it for you with Concierge.
Questions
How long does it take to transfer files between clouds?
It depends on how much data you're moving and how fast both providers let the transfer run. CloudRaft copies server-side (cloud to cloud, not through your computer), so the main factor is total size. The estimator divides your data size by a conservative observed throughput to give a rough figure — real speed varies with each provider's rate limits and how many small files you have.
How much does it cost to move X GB between clouds?
Your first 10 GB is free. After that it's a prepaid pass sized to your data: Starter ($9.99 / 100 GB), Personal ($19.99 / 500 GB), Pro ($59.99 / 2 TB), Business ($129 / 5 TB), and above 5 TB it's the Business pass plus a $0.06/GB top-up (for example, 10 TB is about $429). The estimator shows the cheapest option that covers your amount.
Will moving files between clouds change or delete my originals?
No. CloudRaft is copy-only: it reads your source and writes copies to the destination, and never deletes, moves, renames, or modifies anything in your source. The worst case in any failure is that you run the migration again.
Which clouds can I move between?
Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box, and Nextcloud / WebDAV, in any direction.
