Move Box to Google Drive

How it works

- Press Start. The copy runs on our servers, so you can close the tab; your Box originals are never touched.
Your originals are never touched
CloudRaft is copy-only. It reads the files you pick from Box and writes copies into Google Drive— it never deletes, moves, renames, or changes anything in your source. We don't store your file contents; they stream between the two clouds through our worker and are never written to our disks.

- Box Notes are Box's own document format — they copy as a .boxnote file that only opens in Box. Export them to PDF or Word from Box first if you want them readable in Drive.
- There's no size cap on our side beyond what your Google Drive plan accepts — very large files just take longer.
Questions
Do I have to download my files to move them from Box to Google Drive?
No. CloudRaft copies directly between Box and Google Drive on its own servers — nothing is downloaded to your computer and you don't need to keep a device running.
Will CloudRaft delete or change my Box files?
Never. CloudRaft is copy-only: it reads the files you choose and writes copies to Google Drive. It cannot delete, move, or modify anything in Box — that's enforced in code, not just policy.
What does it cost?
You can copy up to 10 GB free, no card. Beyond that you buy a one-time pass — a fixed amount of data for a one-time price, no subscription.
How long does it take?
As fast as both providers allow — we don't throttle. Small files move quickly; very large files take longer. It runs in the background, so you don't have to watch it.
Did everything copy correctly?
We verify every file landed at the destination before counting it done — by size, and by checksum where the provider supports one. The count you see is the verified count, not just attempted.
Can I move from Box to a personal Google account?
Yes. CloudRaft copies the files you select from Box into any Google Drive — personal or Workspace — into a dated CloudRaft folder. Your Box content is never altered.
Can CloudRaft change or delete my Box files?
No. The Box source connection is read-only by design — CloudRaft can read to copy, but cannot delete, move, or modify anything in Box.
